Danielle Fiamanya (u/s Juliet), Cassidy Janson (Anne Hathaway), Oliver Tompsett (William Shakespeare), Alex Tranter (u/s Romeo), Tim Mahendran (Francois), Melanie La Barrie (Nurse "Angelique"), Ivan de Freitas (u/s Lance), Jocasta Almgill (Lady Capulet/Nell), Billy Nevers (s/w Lord Capulet/Cuthbert), Antoine Murray-Straughan (Augustine), Sophie Usher (s/w Gwynne), Rhian Duncan (Imogen), Kieran Lai (Kempe), Kerri Norville (Susanna), Josh Baker (s/w Thomas)
Notes: Edited concert version of the show due to cast injury/illness. The character of May was cut completely with major sections of the show cut or edited to accommodate (which caused some goofs throughout) the cast who could be there were still incredible and gave an amazing show. Includes curtain call video.

Miriam-Teak Lee (Juliet), Cassidy Janson (Anne Hathaway), Oliver Tompsett (William Shakespeare), Jordan Luke Gage (Romeo), Tim Mahendran (Francois), Alex Thomas-Smith (May), Melanie La Barrie (Nurse "Angelique"), David Bedella (Lance), Jocasta Almgill (Lady Capulet/Nell), Ivan de Freitas (Lord Capulet/Sly), Kirstie Skivington (Eleanor/Benvolio), Antoine Murray-Straughan (Augustine), Nathan Lorainey-Dineen (Gregory), Alex Tranter (Henry), Rhian Duncan (Imogen), Sophie Usher (Judith), Kieran Lai (Kempe), Roshani Abbey (Lucy), Rhys Wilkinson (Richard), Kerri Norville (Susanna)
Notes: A few changes to the script and music since the last run, mostly for the character of May! The atmosphere was amazing and quite a few songs got standing ovations. When that happens, my recording gets kind of bad, but otherwise pretty good. Jordan misses his cue on Baby One More Time and doesn't join in. Max Martin did a short speech after the show. I only have a minute or so of it but I included it.

Notes: Please mark as sitting-in-my-hotel's master. Tracked by Hadesishere. This is the MTI version of the show so 'Opportunity' is back in, but earlier on and with different lyrics to the Broadway version. The audio mixing wasn't amazing so there are moments when the instrumentals drown out the vocals. I wasn't that keen on Archie or Evan, but the rest of the cast were fantastic - especially the girls. Zoe sounds so much like Liz Gillies it's amazing. Not for sale.

Notes: First preview of the Dutch production of Amélie! The Dutch producers seem to have taken bits and pieces from the Broadway, UK and (especially the) German productions, while also adding some new things of their own, which has resulted in a lovely production. It was the first preview and some small things went wrong, like one of Lucien's figs falling into the first row and some microphone issues, but nothing major and the cast handled it very smoothly. There were definitely some nerves going around, particularly in the first act. But most of the nerves seemed to have settled during the interval, resulting in a lovely second act. Some things definitely need a little work, but overall, it's a really wonderful production and I can't wait to see it again a bit later in its run.

Notes: Last performance before an evening-lockdown shuts down most of the theaters in the Netherlands for three weeks. The cast was wonderful and Christanne has really grown into the role of Amélie. Some changes have been made since the previews, but act 1 still feels a little disjointed, with some less than smooth transitions between scenes. Though to be fair, the issues with act 1 were more noticeable because of a near perfect act 2, where everything worked (except for one of the set pieces).

Notes: Pre-show speech from Stephen Pasquale saying that 2 company members were out with COVID, without understudies, so they would re-adjust as needed; I think one of them was a band member, because Rob Morrison (ensemble) was the only actor missing. Eddie Cooper (the Proprietor) read his lines on book from the back of the stage. It also changes the dynamic of the orchestrations, because the banjo is missing (and maybe another instrument too)

Notes: The audience around me was a hot mess at the start of the show, so I apologize for anything that's audible. One guy across the aisle kept coughing with his mask down, the lady next to me decided to take off her noisy coat right as the show started and was struggling, another lady in front of me coughed a lot, someone's phone went off, and the guy behind me kept repeating lines he found funny. Billed as a workshop, although this show has already been fully staged twice in America. This was an abridged version of Act 1 and selected scenes from Act 2 (I presume to showcase the show and get investors for a UK production). Includes speeches from the producer Larry Hirschhorn and director Jack Cummings III. The actors weren't mic'd and occasionally might be a bit hard to hear. Not for sale. NFT except through master until 21/12/22.

MUFTI, York Theatre Company | October 18, 2014 | master: Unknown | mp3, untracked
John Tartaglia (Big Josh Baskin), Janet Metz (Mrs Baskin), Kerry Butler (Susan Lawrence), Richard Maltby Jr (George McMillan), James Ludwig (Paul Seymour), Hayden Wall (Young Josh), Jeremy Shinder (Billy)
Notes: Part of the Mufti series by the York Theatre Company. Includes preshow speech by James Morgan, Artistic Director of the York. Notable performance because the actor originally playing George MacMillian was unavailable to play the role (not sure if due to injury or vocal troubles--James Morgan explains this in the preshow speech) and so they asked Mr. Richard Maltby, Jr., the lyricist, to do so for the remainder of the run.
